I'm attending the University of Rochester to earn a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering. I have four years of professional tutoring experience, along with seven years of experience tutoring as a volunteer. My specialties are science and math. I also had the opportunity to design curriculum for SAT test preparation. I like tutoring because of the one-on-one approach, allowing me to teach to the individual in front of me as opposed to the entire classroom, where material may be ahead or behind the student's understanding. Every learner deserves someone to guide them at their pace and in the way they learn best to ensure understanding and appreciation of the subject being studied. When I have free time, I enjoy hockey, computers, video games, Quidditch, and the theater.
